(KNSI) – The Minnesota Vikings have a rare home game on Thanksgiving night against the New England Patriots, and that is altering the high school football championship schedule.

Traditionally played on the holiday weekend, this year’s Minnesota State High School League Prep Bowl has been pushed back to December 2nd and 3rd. The rest of the season will continue as planned.

The first day of practice is August 15th. Regular season, sectionals, and state quarterfinal games are not being adjusted. The semifinal round is also scheduled at U.S. Bank Stadium, from November 17th through the 19th.
