(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to selling a woman for sex.

Stearns County Judge Heidi Schultz sentenced Antonio Lavor Clark to ten years in prison. In September, Clark pleaded guilty to two counts of engaging in sex trafficking. He was given credit for nearly two years already served.

The Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force investigated the 37-year-old in 2019 and 2020 for arranging for women to have sex with men in Waite Park and St. Cloud in exchange for money.

The CMHTTF investigators say Clark also trafficked the women in the Fargo area and the Twin Cities.

Clark’s prior criminal history includes a kidnapping conviction from 2005 and burglary in 2013 and 2015. He was also convicted of failing to register as a predatory offender in 2015.
