(KNSI) – St. Cloud’s Boys of Summer are announcing their 2024 schedule as we prepare to ring in winter.
The Rox will compete in 70 games as part of next year’s Northwoods League slate. The fun on the diamond begins just after Memorial Day with what is becoming a customary four-game road trip. This time, they’ll be battling the Bismarck Larks and the Minot Hot Tots from the visiting dugout.
The home opener is Friday, May 31st with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Fireworks will follow the game against the Duluth Huskies. The Rox will have 36 regular-season games at Joe Faber Field.
The team finished as runner-up last year when it lost to the Green Bay Rockers in the league championship game. That matchup took place at the Rock Pile.
St. Cloud is in the Great Plains West division, which is expanding this year as the Badlands Big Sticks join the Northwoods. Other teams in the division include the Mankato MoonDogs and Willmar Stingers, both of which usually challenge for the top spot in the standings.
