PULSE Hosts Third-Annual 'The REASON: A Family Christmas Experience'
Nick Hall aims to refocus Americans on Christ at Christmas
MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 15, 2012 – PULSE will host its third-annual 'The REASON: A Family Christmas Experience' this December, aimed at refocusing families on what is most important at Christmas – love, joy and peace. Nick Hall, the founder and lead communicator of PULSE, will host the family-friendly Christmas concerts, happening across the Midwest.
The REASON is a night of Christmas music by bands including Kutless, Moriah Peters, and Dave Lubben, followed by a message about Christmas presented by Hall, an internationally known speaker.
The REASON will take place in 10 cities across the Midwest, including Grand Forks, N.D., Fargo, N.D., Minot, N.D., Bismarck, N.D., St. Cloud, Minn., Omaha, Neb., Des Moines, Iowa, Oshkosh, Wisc., Aberdeen, S.D. and Chicago.
"The REASON is for everyone – Christian or non-Christian, church goer or not," said Hall. "In our society, commercialism has made Christmas just another stressful event for Americans."
Hall began The REASON in 2010 after witnessing the commercialism and disillusionment that is often coupled with the holiday season. For example, Christmas is said to be one of the most stressful and expensive times of the year, with American's spending an estimated $400 billion annually, according to Advent Conspiracy. Hall's goal is to help people see that Christmas is not just about gifts or parties.
Through the PULSE Movement, Hall travels the United States year-round speaking at college campuses and to young people with a message of hope. Seeking to impact a hurting generation, PULSE was founded in 2006 by Nick Hall as a result of being inspired by a paper he wrote for his English class at North Dakota State University. Today, it is one of the fastest-growing youth outreaches. This year alone, Hall has spoken to over 750,000 people. PULSE impacts more than 250,000 millennials each year through events, concerts and festivals.
Tickets to The REASON cost $15. For tickets and more information about The REASON Tour, please visit, http://thereasonchristmas.com/ or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/thereasonchristmas.
