BBB Secure Your ID Day

Help prevent identity theft and ‘secure your ID’ with this free document shredding event. Your Better Business Bureau has partnered with Shred Right, and the Small Business Development Center to help raise awareness of the dangers of identity theft and encourage local small businesses and community residents to drop off up to 5 boxes of personal or corporate documents to be shredded on site. Drive through and drop off your documents for free shredding, then stop in the SCSU Welcome Center for free refreshments, information, and a chance to win a free document shredder courtesy of the BBB.

Items Recommended for Shredding:  Bank statements, tax documents, bills, cancelled checks, legal documents, personal medical information, investment statements, CDs, tapes, and credit card information.
