Veterans Day program announced at SCSU

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud State University will celebrate those who have served the United State in the armed forces with an open house beginning at 1 pm next Tuesday in Atwood Memorial Center’s Cascade Room in honor of Veterans Day.

A short program takes place at 1:30. A banner also will be available to write a greeting or a word of thanks on for veterans.

The event is open to the public and is sponsored by St. Cloud State University, the Student Veterans Organization, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.

St. Cloud State serves more than 525 enrolled military students and veterans and was named one of the most military friendly schools in America for 2013.
