Three injured in Hwy 23 crash

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Three people were taken to the hospital after a two vehicle accident in St. Cloud Sunday.

Police say it happened at the intersection of Highway 23 and 33rd Avenue.

A vehicle driven by 19 year-old Lauren Stein of St. Cloud was southbound and had made a left turn to go eastbound on Division Street in front of a vehicle driven by 41 year-old Michelle Karol of St. Martin.

Karol and her passenger--69 year-old Gloria Thompson of Baudette--were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries.

A passenger in Stein's vehicle--19 year-old Margaret Dunn of Burnsville--was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with severe injuries to her right leg.

Stein was issued a citation for failing to yield the right of way.
