GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KNSI) The National Weather Service says a winter storm will impact northwestern Minnesota late tonight through Saturday night.
Light snow will spread into northwestern Minnesota tonight, and could be mixed with freezing rain and sleet.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issed through Saturday night for the Crookston, East Grand Forks, Thief River Falls, Roseau, Baudette and Red Lake Falls areas, where up to four inches of snow could accumulate.
North central and northeastern North Dakota are in a Winter Storm Warning, with 6 to 12 inches of snow expected. The snow will be blown around by north winds at 15 to 30 miles per hour with higher gusts by Saturday afternoon.
