ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Drew LeBlanc scored twice in the second period Saturday to help St. Cloud State beat North Dakota 5-2.
UND (4-3-1, 2-1-1) hadn't lost in St. Cloud on a Saturday in 10 years. On Friday, it broke a 10-year winless Friday streak by topping the Huskies 3-0. The teams split this weekend's Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.
The Huskies took a 3-2 lead into the third period. LeBlanc had two goals in the second period and Jonny Brodzinski netted a goal in the first.
North Dakota countered on goals by Drake Caggiula and Dillon Simpson.
Clarke Saunders made 32 saves for UND and Ryan Faragher had 22 for SCSU (6-4-0, 4-2-0).
