Highway 23 project finished

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Motorists will find four new lanes of roadway open on Highway 23 between St. Cloud and Foley.

The highway opened Friday afternoon.

Highway 23 between Highway 95 near St. Cloud and Highway 25 in Foley was closed March 19th as crews completed a project that converted eight miles of the busy roadway to a four-lane divided highway.

The redesigned highway also includes new turn lanes, new turn signal lights at the Highway 23/25 intersection, improved drainage, and upgraded pedestrian crosswalks that meet modern accessibility standards.
